S. Ocamponis Cristal dragon fruit is an extremely rare and difficult-to-find dragon fruit variety originate in Mexico, it is the sister of Ocamponis Dolphin. They are seedlings grown from an Ocamponis fruit. Very different from the common Ocamponis genus, the Cristal variety does NOT have white/gray coating on its stem. The fruit has a very appealing oblong shape with red-tipped fins. The fruit has a flavor of wild berries in its red flesh and an exceptional Brix average of 20. Ocamponis Cristal are a heavy producer and weigh about 1 to 1.5 pounds.
