Eyal is a dragon fruit variety named after renowned grower Eyal Givon, the owner of Moorpark Dragon Fruit Farm. Cultivated by Mr. Givon, this variety features vibrant magenta flesh that is exceptionally juicy and sweet, with a pronounced berry flavor. The fruit is round in shape and averages 1.5 pounds in weight. Its stigma is short, nearly level with the anthers. Our tests have confirmed that this variety is self-fertile and self-pollinating, making it a promising candidate for commercial production.

Key Characteristics of Eyal Dragon Fruit
- Fertility: It can successfully fertilize its own flowers using its own pollen.
- Pollination Style: It is self-pollinating, meaning the flower's structure allows pollen to reach the stigma naturally without needing hand pollination or specific night-pollinating insects.
