The flowers: Caprisun flowers are large and white, characteristic of the dragon fruit species (Hylocereus). The blossoms are very fragrant and only open for a single night.
Pollination: While many dragon fruit flowers require cross-pollination from a different variety, some are self-fertile and can set fruit with their own pollen. Growers have reported success with Caprisun flowers being self-fertile.
The plant: The Caprisun dragon fruit grows on a cactus-like vine. The flowers only last for a short time after blooming and will wilt by the following day.
