The Asunta 5 Starburst was created by breeder Edgar Valdivia by crossing Tricia and Asunta 4. Essentially Hybridizing a Selenicereus Guatemalensis with Selenicereus Stenopterus. This Asunta 5 sibling has the most geogous and photogenic out of all asunta 5 siblings.
Another interesting fact about the Asunta 5 Starburst is that Edgar Switched the Parents on this varietiy so he used Asunta 4 as the Father and Tricia as the Mother ( thats why the flower is white like Tricia )
Known for its vigorous growth and heavy fruit production, the Asunta 5 Starburst thrives in our garden. Like its siblings, it is self-sterile and requires cross-pollination to set fruit.
